中国的摇滚乐如同生锈的声音，虽然微弱，但是不灭，有着自己的快乐，他们发出独立而特别的声音，决然不与其他声音同，不改变，不修饰，不停止，微弱，然而不灭，是为锈声。
锈声唱片前身为中国音乐家音像出版社江湖唱片，专事摇滚乐出版。在厂牌创立之前即定下宗旨：立足草根，不拘泥于音乐形式，一切以作品说话，以音乐创造力和对底层生活的关注为出版标准。摇滚乐被规则流派定型的东西太多，被商业利益扭曲的太多，要去广阔的“江湖”中寻找新的活力，寻找流失的作品、民间原生的音乐，寻找没有思想规则束缚，自发的、不考虑功名利益而产生的音乐！

“锈声”位于北京通州区梨园城铁站——北京的新音乐群落，与不远处的宋庄画家村群落隔通州大运河相望。远离市区的喧嚣和尘土，这里很适合灵感的酝酿。

The Rusty Voice in Beijing
　 Rock and roll in China is as rusty voice: glimmering but unextinguishable and joyful.Unique , independent and definitely unlike other voice,it is inflexible and truthful ,glimmering .but imperishable. And that is what we call the Rusty Voice.
